Riddersalen

Anne Middelboe Christensen, Teateravisen

Little blue shoes

Ragnhild is a lady who takes people for a walk. Children as well as adults. She is always excited and full of expectations when a new walking buddy is about to arrive. The paintings, drawers and cabinets in her small entrance hall are brought to life in a magical way as she tells stories about the excursions to come.
Today she´s waiting for Alfred. The little blue shoes are ready in their place, and she´s dreaming about all the joys the day will bring.
…The doorbell rings at last!

The story is written from a child´s perspective. During half an hour we are invited into a landscape full of feelings like expectations, happiness, disappointment, surprise and recognition.

The room changes character in front of us and the music invites our ears to listen to Dylan, Schubert, Janácêk, Dvorâk, Vivaldi, a.o.

Children and adults in the audience will most certainly be inspired to take a walk together afterwards. Many unknown excursions are waiting ahead of us.
