- Kirsten Dahl, 5 stjerner i Aarhus Stiftstidende

Phosphor– The Magic of Nature

Anna Rosa Hiort-Lorenzen & Kasper Daugaard

Fluorescent exhibition at Horsens Art Museum

Inspired by Nordic natural phenomena and myths, textile artist Anna Rosa Hiort-Lorenzen and choreographer Kasper Daugaard create a magic world of fluorescent fabrics, light, sound and movement. An exhibition that transforms itself, when the wind blows and the light goes out…

Phosphor is a substance that exhibits the phenomenon of luminescence: i.e. giving off visible light through the effect of electrons, ultraviolet light or shortwave visible light.

PHOSPHOR– The Magic of Nature speaks to the body and the senses, and to the inner explorer of all ages.

PHOSPHOR– The Magic of Nature is a beautiful proof, that something fascinating can emerge from letting two artists from different worlds, - Anna Rosa Hjort-Lorenzen is a textile artist and Kasper Daugaard is a choreographer, meet and unfold in an entirely different media.

Anna Rosa Hjort-Lorenzen is a textile designer educated from the Danish School of Design.

Kasper Daugaard is a dancer, performer, and choreographer educated from Amsterdam School of the Arts.

Their latest collaboration, the installation Room of Old Age, is a permanent part of the sensoric tunnel at Experimentarium, museum for sciences in Copenhagen, the next 7 years. Like PHOSPHOR- The Magic of Nature, the installation plays with the senses, fluorescent colours, light and darkness.
